MISSIONARY SERVING AT Project Mexico
Julia first felt a call to mission work during her Semester of Faith at Hellenic College Holy Cross in Brookline, Massachusetts. As a young adult who had been very involved in many ministries of the church, she felt a certain spark during a spring break trip to Project Mexico. She interned the following summer with the Project Mexico homebuilding internship program, where she felt a further calling to be involved. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in English from Fordham University, she committed to serving Saint Innocent Orphanage for one year. Now, she works as an Orthodox Christian Mission Center missionary at the associated Casa Cuna San Felipe infant orphanage, caring for orphaned babies awaiting reunion with family, or adoption. After her time at Project Mexico, Julia hopes to further pursue work in ministry by studying the intersection of theology and literature.
Julia feels beyond blessed and excited to serve the children of Tijuana and asks for your continued prayers and support!
