Welcome to my OCMC 2020 Virtual Trek4Missions page. During these challenging times, two things remain important to me: maintaining my personal health and helping send OCMC missionaries to the ends of the earth to preach the Gospel of Christ! I pledge to get outside and complete 100 miles by running, walking, and riding for Orthodox mission work. My goal is to raise $200.
Over the next five weeks, from August 9 to September 14, I hope to raise awareness and funding for OCMC's efforts to make disciples of all nations by bringing people to Christ and His Church. There are over 1 billion people who have yet to hear the Gospel message. They cannot be reached unless there are missionaries to send.
OCMC is supported by individuals like you and me. Donations large and small help OCMC to recruit, train, send, and support missionaries who are taking up their cross to follow Christ.
Join me to help send disciples and change lives! I hope you will support these efforts by donating to my page or by joining my team. Together we can help bring the life-transforming Gospel into the world! Let's Trek4Missions!
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; Therefore, pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." (Luke 10:2)
My Personal Trek Log
Example Post: Trek Mile Update!!
Since starting the Trek, I have ran 31.5 miles in two weeks. Only less than 70 more miles to complete! It has been tough to stay active, but bringing awareness about Orthodox missions and the work of OCMC is important to me.
Did you know there are over 30 OCMC missionaries serving around the world?! They serve in countries like Albania, Kenya, and Guatemala to name a few. Very soon, there will even be missionaries in Sweden! How cool is that?

Example Post: Beginning the Trek!
Looking forward to starting my trek! My goal is to run 100 miles throughout the event. I am starting to train by running twice a week for about 4+ miles.
The reason why I am participating in OCMC's Trek4Missions is because mission work is very important. I have gone on many mission trips and have seen the desire by so many to learn about Christ and the Church. The desire is there, but they need help and guidance. Someone to teach them and is present longer than a week. Who is no better than a missionary! OCMC needs funds to reach, train and send missionaries. Its not cheap to prepare someone for the field. I am doing my part to help raise funds for those who are answering the calling to service the Church.
Follow and join me on my trek to support OCMC's efforts to send missionaries to the ends of the earth! I will give updates on my distance and share with you my own personal experience on short term mission trips.
