My Trek4Missions Page
Welcome to my OCMC 2020 Virtual Trek4Missions page. During these challenging times, two things remain important to me: maintaining my personal health and helping send OCMC missionaries to the ends of the earth to preach the Gospel of Christ! I pledge to get outside and complete 40 miles by swimming and hiking for Orthodox mission work.
Over the next five weeks, from August 9 to September 14, I hope to raise awareness and funding for OCMC's efforts to make disciples of all nations by bringing people to Christ and His Church. There are over 1 billion people who have yet to hear the Gospel message. They cannot be reached unless there are missionaries to send.
OCMC is supported by individuals like you and me. Donations large and small help OCMC to recruit, train, send, and support missionaries who are taking up their cross to follow Christ.

86.54 miles
Yesterday was the last day of the Trek. Over the last 5 weeks I completed 86.54 miles. More than double what I originally thought I could do! I still have $345 more dollars to meet my fundraising goal. Will you consider a donation to OCMC missionaries?

1.16 miles on Day 1
The first 1.16 miles of the Trek are logged. I finally walked a local park that I used to drive by every day on the way to work. Will leave you with a couple verses of comfort-by the mercies of God we are renewed.
Romans 12: 1-2
1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The Trek starts tomorrow!
Got a good 1.9 mile warm up hike in this morning and I'm getting ready to get active and learn and share about Orthodox Missions.
