I have participated in the Swim for Hope since 2014, and this is my first year away from Southern California. I will be swimming simultaneously with the rest of the team, only half a world away, in Southern Italy.

I will be leaving the Naples, Italy mainland and braving the choppy waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, to land at the island of Ischia. This area is very busy with fishing boats, pleasure craft and even hydrofoil ferries. Please pray for my strength and my safety, as well as for my family who will be accompanying me and providing support.

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; Therefore, pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." (Luke 10:2)
