Event Information:

The Minneapolis Missions 5K is a fundraising event for OCMC's efforts to "make disciples of all nations" by leading people to Christ and His Church. Money raised will go towards training, sending, and supporting OCMC missionaries and ministries.

Join us for an enjoyable way to proclaim Christ to all people by challenging friends and getting the whole family involved in OCMC's first-ever Missions 5K. Complete a 3.1 mile lap(s) around lake Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun) at your own pace.

Event Schedule:

4:00 PM CDT - Pan-Orthodoxy Vespers @ St. Mary's
5:00 PM CDT - Check-in/Registration
5:30 PM CDT - Minneapolis Missions 5K starts
6:45 PM CDT - Dinner & OCMC Presentation by Dan Christopulos.

We welcome runners, walkers, and athletes of all levels to participate. We will start by celebrating Pan-Orthodox Vespers, followed by the 5k, and dinner presentation from Dan Christopulos, OCMC Development Director and first missionary. He will share with us the latest updates from our missionaries and around the world. Learn how your support is helping fulfill Christ's Great Commission to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19).

And as a bonus, hear a special message from Jesse Brandow, OCMC missionary in Central America, who will speak about his ministry to assist growing ministries of the Orthodox Church in Central America.
