Welcome to the 2022 OCMC Trek4Missions!

The Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC) invites all local parishes and Orthodox mission supporters across the nation. We begin during the week of the Feast of the Glorification of St. Herman of Alaska (August 9) and conclude the week of the Feast of the Elevation of the Life-Giving Cross (September14).

 What is the OCMC Trek4Missions?

The Trek4Missions is an interactive event like a virtual 5k or cycling event, that brings awareness and raises funds Orthodox Missions. This event is about logging miles for missions, staying healthy, having fun outdoors, and uniting as the Body of Christ. There are no lines, specific event locations, or parking frustrations. All proceeds help support OCMC’s missionary efforts to provide the necessary resources and send missionaries to teach the world of Jesus Christ and His Church.

 Our goal:

To virtually complete 25,000 collective miles and raise $100,000.

We challenge parishes to form a Trek Team of at least 5 members to complete a minimum of 500 miles and raise at least $1,800 in six weeks! How cool would it be to virtually travel Ss Cyril & Methodius’s 760+ mile journey from Rome to the Moravia Region? Or contribute to St. Herman’s 7,300-mile trek from Valaam Monastery to Kodiak, Alaska?
