The Metropolitan Washington D.C. Missions & Outreach Committee is a pan-Orthodox clearinghouse for mission & philanthropic activities of all Eastern Orthodox churches in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area, as well as a place for parishioners serving in the field worldwide & in committees at home to share their experiences
In 2016, our D.C committee held a mission walk to raise
awaress for the work of Orthodox missions around the world.
In response to our Lord's final command, many communities had set up their own Mission and Outreach Committee. For the community of Saint Katherine of Falls Church, VA, it is our mission to participate in this Great Commission. We do this by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Holy Orthodox Church to all peoples of the world. We acknowledge our responsibility to be stewards of our local, national and global communities.
