Susie's Trek4Missions Page
Welcome to my OCMC 2020 Virtual Trek4Missions page. During these challenging times, two things remain important to me: maintaining my personal health and helping send OCMC missionaries to the ends of the earth to preach the Gospel of Christ! I pledge to get outside and clean 4 horse stalls/week, that's 4 tons of shoveling per wk! (with or without the help of my goats) for Orthodox mission work.
Our family has been supporting and participating with medical mission teams serving at the Fr Giron medical clinic in Aguacate, Guatemala since 2017. Your gifts help to support this important project as well as the work of OCMC missionaries around the world.
Over the next five weeks, from August 9 to September 14, I hope to raise awareness and funding for OCMC's efforts to make disciples of all nations by bringing people to Christ and His Church. There are over 1 billion people who have yet to hear the Gospel message. They cannot be reached unless there are missionaries to send.
OCMC is supported by individuals like you and me. Donations large and small help OCMC to recruit, train, send, and support missionaries and mission teams who are taking up their cross to follow Christ.
Join me to help send disciples and change lives! I hope you will support these efforts by donating to my page or by joining my team. Together we can help bring the life-transforming Gospel into the world! Let's Trek4Missions!
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; Therefore, pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." (Luke 10:2)

week1
This week we took advantage of the long streak of sunny weather to put up about 450 bales of hay. The draft horse stalls got a good cleaning. My baby goats were weaned from their milk bottle feedings finally, but they don't seem to mind because they found a batch of dry oak leaves from last fall that they find delicious.
